Nota d'usoQuando viene utilizzato per indicare il caso possessivo (il cosiddetto “genitivo sassone”), l'apostrofo viene spesso messo nel posto sbagliato. Si può evitare di commettere errori se ci si pone la domanda “di chi è? a chi appartiene?” oppure “di chi sono? a chi appartengono?”, perché l'apostrofo va messo immediatamente dopo la parola che costituisce la risposta a questa domanda.
